Reinvesty Dividend AI ("Reinvesty", "we", "us", or "our") is a portfolio tracking and AI research application for dividend investors. For privacy questions, contact us at support@reinvesty.app.
Account information. When you create an account, we generate an anonymous user ID. If you choose to link a Google or Apple account, we receive your name and email address from that provider for authentication purposes only.
Portfolio data. Holdings you add to the app — ticker symbols, share quantities, cost basis, labels, and notes — are stored on our servers and associated with your account.
Communications. When you contact us for support or feedback, we receive the information you share with us.
Payment information. For paid subscriptions, payment is processed by Apple or Google. We do not store your credit card or payment details. We receive limited subscription status information (active, expired, tier) from RevenueCat.
If you are a Pro subscriber and choose to connect your brokerage or financial accounts through Plaid Inc., Plaid will transmit information from those accounts to Reinvesty. This may include:
You may disconnect a connected financial account at any time through account settings, which immediately revokes our ability to receive further information from that account. Plaid's collection and use of your information is governed by Plaid's End User Privacy Policy.
Device information. We store a device identifier and, if you enable notifications, a push notification token (FCM token). We also record the platform (iOS or Android) and the time of last activity.
Usage data. Standard server logs record API requests, response codes, and timestamps. We do not log the content of your holdings requests beyond what is needed to serve them.
Subscription data. Subscription status (free, monthly, yearly) and expiry dates are stored in association with your account.
We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Weekly research notes and quarterly portfolio analysis are generated using Anthropic's Claude AI. When generating this content, we send ticker symbols and publicly available market data to Anthropic's API. We do not send your personal information, account details, or financial amounts to Anthropic. Anthropic processes this data in accordance with their own privacy policy and does not use API inputs for model training.
We share information only as necessary to operate the Service or as required by law. We do not sell your information.

These providers process information on our behalf under contractual data protection terms. They are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes except as required to provide their services to us or as required by law.
We may disclose information when required by law, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Reinvesty, our users, or others.
If Reinvesty is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and meet legal obligations:
If you delete your account, we delete your personal data and holdings from production systems within 30 days. Backups expire within 90 days through normal rotation. Anonymized, aggregated analytics may be retained indefinitely.
All data is transmitted over TLS-encrypted connections. Sensitive data — including Plaid access tokens and financial account details — is encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption. We apply role-based access controls, multi-factor authentication for personnel with system access, and conduct regular security reviews.
No security measures are perfect. We cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
Access and correction. You can access and update most account information through your account settings. To request a copy of all information we hold about you, contact support@reinvesty.app.
Deletion. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through account settings. We will process deletion requests within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements (e.g., billing records). When you delete your account, Plaid access tokens are revoked immediately and Plaid-sourced data is deleted within 30 days.
Disconnect financial accounts (Pro). You may disconnect a Plaid-connected account at any time through Settings → Linked Accounts in the app, or directly through the Plaid Portal. Disconnection revokes our ability to receive further data from that account but does not retroactively delete information already received.
Email preferences. Transactional emails (account, billing, security) are required to use the Service. Product communications can be managed in your account settings.
California residents (CCPA). You have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise your rights, contact support@reinvesty.app.
Other jurisdictions. Residents of other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws (Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, and others) and users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland may have additional rights under applicable law. Contact us to exercise those rights.
For users who connect financial accounts via Plaid (Pro tier):
Reinvesty is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by email or through the app before changes take effect. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
